China FM urges Israel to stop Gaza assault

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi urged Israel on Sunday to end military operations in Gaza and lift its blockade of the Palestinian enclave. Wang made his comments at a press conference with his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukri, whose government is hosting a Palestinian delegation for ceasefire talks snubbed by Israel, according to AFP.
