China keen to help BD produce paper at low costs

China Light Industrial Corporation for Foreign Economic and Technical Cooperation (CLETC) on Tuesday showed its eagerness to help Bangladesh produce paper at low costs using modern technology. The state-owned enterprise, CLETC, also offered to extend all sorts of cooperation to increase production capacity of the state-owned sugar mills in Bangladesh. A five-member delegation of the CLETC, led by its president Wang Xianyang, conveyed their eagerness at a meeting with Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu at his Secretariat office, said a handout, according to a news agency.
