Chinese Vice-premier Liu Yandong on Monday said Bangladesh has adopted many successful policies to tackle different economic and social challenges and China may find benefits by observing the experience of Bangladesh.
Liu Yandong passed the remarks during a call on the Speaker of the Parliament and CPA Executive Committee Chairperson Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury at her office in the capital.
Terming Bangladesh a good friend of China, Yandong hoped the friendly relation between the two countries would be strengthened further in the coming days, BSS reported.
The Chinese VP assured the Speaker of her countries' continuous cooperation in Bangladesh's journey to become a middle-income country by 2021.
"Apart from the expansion of trade, bilateral cooperation and friendly relation would be continued," she hoped.
Expressing gratitude to China, Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury expects that existing cooperation between China and Bangladesh in the field of economy and social development would reach a new height.
