China stocks flat

Chinese stocks were flat in morning trade on Tuesday after US stocks ended little changed overnight, dealers said. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index slipped 0.08 per cent, or 1.59 points, to 2,022.78. The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China’s second exchange, edged up 0.05 per cent, or 0.58 points, to 1,061.84, according to AFP.
