China stocks mixed

Chinese stocks were mixed in morning trade on Monday despite a surge in US stocks last week, dealers said. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index edged down 0.09 percent, or 1.83 points, to 2024.84. The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, gained 0.31 per cent, or 3.22 points, to 1053.33, according to AFP.
