China stocks slip

Chinese stocks were lower in morning trade on Wednesday following a slight fall in US stocks overnight, dealers said. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index slipped 0.10 per cent, or 2.05 points, to 2,036.26. The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China’s second exchange, fell 0.24 per cent, or 2.51 points, to 1,050.37, according to AFP.
