Chinese shares were up in morning trade Tuesday, helped by rises in US stocks, dealers said. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index gained 0.54 per cent, or 10.78 points, to 2,015.96. The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China’s second exchange, jumped 1.25 per cent, or 12.71 points, to 1,026.90, according to AFP.
