China stocks stumble

Chinese stocks were slightly lower in morning trade on Thursday, hurt by overnight losses in US shares, dealers said. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index slipped 0.20 per cent, or 4.07 points, to 2,050.88. The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China’s second exchange, fell 0.30 per cent, or 3.21 points, to 1,065.72, according to AFP.
