China Studies Centre opens at NSU

China Studies Centre has been inaugurated at the North South University (NSU) campus.
Ambassador of China in Bangladesh Zang Xian Yi inaugurated the centre, said a press release.
NSU Vice Chancellor Professor Hafiz GA Siddiqi presided over the inaugural function.
The inaugural function was also attended by a six-member delegation led by Vice President of the Yunan University Professor Xiao Xian.
Providing statistics, the Chinese envoy explained Bangladesh's growing export trade to China in recent years and expressed his high hopes about the future role of the centre in flourishing mutual bond and friendship both at the state and individual levels.
Across the globe, there are about 200 China studies centres and NSU has been selected as the ideal place for research and academic activities on China.
