China trade team meets DCCI President

A three member trade delegation from China led by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Chairman Yunnan Sub-Council Li Jiashou called on Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) President Abul Kasem Khan at DCCI in the city Sunday, according to a press release.
DCCI President said that China was the largest import source of Bangladesh and bilateral relations between the two countries was cordial.
He urged the Chinese business entrepreneurs to invest in the textiles and jute-based textiles sector of Bangladesh to reduce the present trade gap between these two countries.
Li Jiashou agreed that a trade gap existed and proposed DCCI to participate at the Trade Fair in China.
DCCI Vice President Md Sirajuddin Malik, Directors Rafiqul Islam Khan, MA Baten, Major Md Yead All Fakir (Retd), among others were present on the occasion.
