China is eagerly waiting to see Bangladesh's participation in the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) to be launched at the end of this year to finance big infrastructure projects of Asian countries. Chinese Finance Minister Lou Jiwei said this during a meeting with founder member of BOAO Forum for Asia (BFA) and former Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Minister Syed Abul Hossain, according to a message received in Dhaka on Monday from Beijing. "Bangladesh has already been invited to be a member of the AIIB and China is keenly waiting to see Bangladesh's participation," said Jiwei, according to a news agency.
