China's information industry has 50m employees

TIANJIN, Sept 18 (CEIS): China's information industry has employed more than 50 million people including 7.55 million working in sizeable enterprises.
According to Ding Wenwu, an official with the ministry, the industry has become a key channel to ease employment pressure. The development of the information industry is accelerating China's industrial structure optimisation and stimulating the change of economic growth patterns, thanks to its low consumption, low emission, and low pollution.
