Chinese Ambassador in Bangladesh Zhang Xianyi called on Information and Cultural Affairs Minister Abul Kalam Azad at latter's office Sunday, reports UNB.
They discussed matters of mutual interest and expressed the hope that the existing friendly relations between the two countries would be further strengthened in the days to come.
The minister sought assistance of the envoy in setting up a cultural centre of Bangladesh in China.
