Chinese Embassy, ABCA give food items to flood victims in Feni

Association of Bangladesh China Alumni (ABCA) in association with Chinese Embassy has distributed cooked food and monthly food packs among the 12,500 flood-affected people in Feni, says a press release.
Flood victims of Sonagazi, Fulgazi, Parshuram, Daganbhuiyan, Chhagalnaiya and Feni Sadar upazilas received this assistance.
The food items for 100 families were handed over to the Deputy Commissioner of Feni Shahina Akhtar on Tuesday.
Apart from this, monthly food packs were distributed to 1150 people of 230 families affected by flood in Chhagalnaiya upazila of Feni. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Saiful Islam was present on the occasion.
Prof Sahabul Haque, general secretary of ABCA, the cultural attaché of the Chinese Embassy, Sun Kang Ning, and other alumni members were present at the programme to distribute monthly food packs at Bathania Government Primary School in Pathannagar, an area of the Chhagalnaiya upazila.
Since August 25, China Embassy and EBCA have been providing cooked food to 6,000 people affected by the floods in Feni.
