Chinese FM in city, talks tomorrow

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi arrived in the city on Saturday evening on a three-day visit to discuss the progress in deals and MoUs (memorandums of understanding) signed between Bangladesh and China during Prime Minister's Sheikh Hasina's China visit. The bilateral talks between the two countries led by the two Foreign Ministers will start at 10am today (Sunday) at the Foreign Ministry. During the Chinese minister's visit, the two countries will review the progress on MoUs, agreements and Letters of Exchange signed between the two countries during Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's official visit to China from June 6 to 11 this year.     — UNB
