Chinese FM Wang Yi arrives Saturday

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, now in Kathmandu, arrives in the city Saturday evening on a three-day visit which is considered a step towards further boosting the bilateral ties between the two countries.
The Chinese Foreign Minister is coming at the invitation of his Bangladesh counterpart AH Mahmood Ali. Wang Yi is scheduled to land at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 6:40 pm, according to the Foreign Ministry. Both countries will have bilateral talks, led by the two Foreign Ministers, Sunday morning.
During the Chinese minister’s visit, the two countries will review the progress on MoUs, agreements and Letters of Exchange signed between the two countries during Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s official visit to China from June 6 to 11 this year, according to a news agency.
