Chinese language training course introduced by CCCI

CHITTAGONG, Apr 22: President of the premier trade body Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) Morshed Murad Ibrahim said today that language is the major barrier in the bilateral trade, commerce and economic relation with China. Chinese language training course will help boost the bilateral ties as Bangladesh has embarked on the Look East policy and with an eye to greater business ties the CCCI has introduced Chinese language training course for the entrepreneurs recently. Murad said this while awarding certificates to the participants of the first batch of the language course in the CCCI Knowledge Centre. He hoped that the businessmen of this region will draw much benefit from such courses in the days to come. Senior vice president of Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mahbubul Alam observed that if the proposed Asian Highway is implemented then export and import business will be diverted from the West to the East. Vice president Md Nurun Newaz Salim, Chamber director Mahfuzul Hoque Shah, Syed Sagir Ahmed and trainer of the course Sumon Nath also addressed the function.
