Chinese military team arrives in city

A 12-member Chinese military delegation led by General Chen Bingde arrived in the city Wednesday on a four-day visit to Bangladesh, reports BSS.
Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral Sarwar Jahan Nizam and Ambassador of China to Bangladesh received them at Zia International Airport, an ISPR press release said.
The delegation will pay a courtesy call on President Iajuddin Ahmed at Banga-bhaban.
The team will visit Rajendrapur Central Workshop and Bangladesh Ordnance Factory at Gazipur and some other military installations.
