Chinese Prof Jiemian Yang calls on DU VC

Prof. Dr Jiemian Yang, Director of Shanghai Institutes for International Studies ( SIIS), China has called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice chancellor Prof Dr Niaz Ahmed Khan, reports BSS.
During the meeting at the VC's office in the capital on Saturday, they exchanged views on various issues including the possibilities of strengthening the ongoing joint collaborative academic and research programs among the University of Dhaka and different universities in China.
They also discussed about further development of Dhaka University's Center for China Studies to conduct pragmatic researches and stressed the need for internationalisation of the center as well as utilising it to strengthen relationship between Bangladesh and China.
