Chinese shares rise

The prices of most of the shares in China’s stock markets rose on Friday morning. Shanghai Composite Index marked a 0.16-per cent or 3.45-point rise in early hours the session to stand at 2,199.27 points. The Shenzhen Composite Index edged up 0.11 per cent, or 1.31 points, to 1,200.02, according to a news agency.
