CHPD organises seminar at IUB

Centre for Health, Population and Development (CHPD) organised a seminar on "Addressing Reproduc-tive Health Issues in Developing Countries: Contribution of Population Council" on the campus of Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) recently.
Population Council in Bangladesh Country Director Ubaidur Rob was the featured speaker at the seminar while IUB Vice Chancellor Bazlul Mobin Chowdhury presided over the seminar.
The presentation discussed the key issues in reproductive health and how the Population Council works to address those, with examples from Bangladesh. There was a lively discussion following the presentation, which was attended by a large number of academics, policy makers and students.
IUB Pro-Vice Chancellor and Executive Director of CHPD Omar Rahman moderated the seminar while its Registrar Tanvir A Khan delivered the vote for thanks.
