CIC board elects chair, vice chair

Mohammed Shafi and Shahida Naznin have been elected chairman and vice chairman respectively of the Central Insurance Company (CIC) Limited. The board of directors of the company at its recently meeting elected its chair and vice chair, said a press release. Mr Shafi is the chairman of Masud Group, director of Chittagong Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, chairman of Patiya Shovandandi School & College Governing Body and Founder of Rashidabad Masuma Karim Hefzakhana. He is also associated with many educational, social, religious and cultural organisations. Shahida Naznin is the chairman of Horizon Homes Ltd. and permanent member of Rotary Club Shamoly, Dhaka.
