CID arrested two Election Commission (EC) employees

CID arrested two Election Commission (EC) employees including Md Habibullah, 41, office assistant-cum-computer operator at the Gazaria Upazila Election Office in Munshiganj; and Md Alamin, 39, a data entry operator (outsourcing) at the EC's Dhaka office on charges of forging National Identity Cards (NIDs) and selling citizens' confidential information. The duo allegedly used to earn more than Tk10 million through the illegal means every month. The information was disclosed at a press conference at Malibagh in the city on Thursday by the CID. — Focus Bangla
