CID resumes investigation into Milki murder

The CID has resumed investigation in Juba League leader Riazul Haque Khan Milki murder case. After accepting the petition, Metropolitan Magistrate Tareq Mainul Islam Bhuiyan directed the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to take immediate steps to investigate the murder at Gulshan in the city last year and submit a report before it by August 10. CID sources said the investigation of the case is at primary level. Due to the slow progress in investigation, the concerned authorities made assistant superintendent of police of CID ABM Siddiqur Rahman the Investigation officer (IO) of the case. Miscreants shot to death Dhaka city south unit Juba League organising secretary Milki at Gulshan-1 on July 29, 2013, according to a news agency.
