CIID seizes 48 gold bars at HSIA

A team of Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate (CIID) recovered 48 gold bars from a garbage basket at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) early Saturday. Tipped off, a team of CIID recovered the gold bars weighing 15.738kg from nine packets wrapped with tape near a washroom around 1:30am, said Director General CIID Dr. Shahidul Islam.
