Cinema opportunity

Monday, 21 October 2019

The number of cinema halls is reportedly declining every year although there is still demand for movies in the country. Some people argue that the entertainment industry is suffering due to availability of old movies on YouTube and many people watch them there. However, as is the case in the West, many in this part of the world, too, look for good movies on the net and they are ready to pay. So, cinema producers and directors need to grab the new opportunity. Some popular television actors and actresses reportedly said they prefer avoiding cinema due to shortage of good stories. That means, the issue is the crisis of stories that are attractive and realistic and that can bring audience back to cinema halls. We believe, there are good stories in Bangladesh that can be used for making decent cinema.
