Citi Global MD arrives in city

Mark Renton, managing director (MD) and global co-head of public sector group, Citi Global Banking, arrived in Dhaka Monday for a two-day visit.
During his stay in the city, he is scheduled to meet key government officials, regulators, major clients of the bank while reviewing opportunities for Citi to expand and provide services to the public sector of Bangladesh.
Mr Renton has been with Citi for over 23 years and held various leadership positions across Citi franchises globally.
He will be accompanied by Michael J Paulus, managing director of Citi's public sector group and head of Asia Pacific Region, during the visit.
Mr Michael joined Citigroup in October 2001 from the US Treasury Department in Washington where he was the deputy assistant secretary for Federal Finance, according to a press release.
