Citi Service Outlet opens at Uttara

Global financial conglomerate Citibank, N.A. has opened a 'Service Outlet' at the Uttara area of the city Tuesday.
This service outlet; located at Uttara Zashin Plaza is equipped for catering to the special banking needs of the business enterprises located at this burgeoning business hub of the capital.
"Shengman Zhang, President of Citigroup Asia Pacific inaugurated the Service Outlet at a formal ceremony.
"As you flourish, we will also flourish and as we flourish, you will also flourish," Zhang said on the eve of the opening, outlining the mutual benefit of the business expansion.
"This is a part of our relentless endeavor to provide superior services to our customers while playing an important role in the banking industry as well as supporting the country's overall economic development", Zhang who is a former Managing Director of World Bank said.
"This latest expansion which follows the establishment of an Offshore Banking Unit at Adamji Export Processing Zone is in recognition of the growing importance of Uttara as an emerging business district of Dhaka metropolis," he said.
