Citi sweeps FinanceAsia's Cash Management Awards

Citi has been awarded Best Cash Management Bank in Asia for 2008 by FinanceAsia. 2008 marks the third consecutive year Citi has won the award. Citi has also won the award eleven out of twelve years.
Citi was also awarded Best Cash Management Solution Bank for its global pooling solution for Samsung Electronics, said a press release.
FinanceAsia wrote, "Citi once again stands out as the best provider of cash management solutions in the region. Citi dominates handling complex request for proposal (RFP) bids and a record number of non-RFP regional mandates."
In awarding the Best Cash Management Solution for Samsung Electronics, FinanceAsia commended Citi in providing an innovative pooling structure, while also highlighting the visibility of cash accounts and the optimization of working capital as standout features.
Commenting on Citi's achievements, Parvez Murshed, Bangladesh Global Transaction Services Head said, "We thank our clients in Bangladesh who have made this possible. This is a testament to our leadership in the Cash business and we will continue to bring our award winning solutions for the benefits of our clients in Bangladesh."
In 2008, Citi was voted Best Cash Management Bank in Asia in Euromoney International Cash Management Poll, in Asiamoney Cash Management Poll and by The Asset. Citi was named Best Online Cash Management Bank in Asia and Best Bank for Liquidity Management in Asia by Global Finance in 2008.
