Citibank bids farewell to Erik Aas

Citibank, NA, Bangladesh accorded a warm farewell and heartfelt appreciation to Grameenphone outgoing Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Erik Aas at a city hotel recently.
As the most successful CEO of the largest mobile phone operator in Bangladesh, Erik Aas led the path in taking both his company and the telecom industry as a whole to new heights, and as a token of appreciation Citigroup Country Officer Mamun Rashid handed over a small plaque to Erik Aas on behalf of Citibank, NA Bangladesh.
Under his able leadership, the mobile phone company has emerged as the leading telecom player attracting global attention.
Also present in the ceremony were Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Chairman Faruq Ahmad Siddiqi, ADB Country Director Hua Du, high officials of various government bodies, CEOs of other mobile phone and service operators, AmCham President Syed Ershad Ahmed, senior officials of Grameenphone, Citibank and other entities.
