Citibank opens service outlet at Savar EPZ

Citibank, NA Bangladesh inaugurated their refurbished Offshore Banking Unit (OBU) Service Office at Savar EPZ services complex Thursday, says a press release.
This office will allow Citibank to cater to the special banking needs of the business enterprises located at Export Processing Zones in Savar more efficiently and contribute more towards the trade activities of the country.
National Board of Revenue Chairman Muhammad Abdul Mazid inaugurated the service office as the chief guest.
Mamun Rashid, Managing Director and Citi Country Officer- Bangladesh was present at the programme attended by a large number of business leaders and senior officials specifically from export houses of EPZ.
Speaking on the occasion, Mamun Rashid said Citibank will continue with its commitment to meet the increasing offshore banking needs of the business enterprises, especially the foreign owned industries in Bangladesh.
