Citibank organises seminar on BACH

Citibank NA Bangladesh organised a seminar on 'Bangladesh Automated Clearing House' in the city recently.
The aim of the seminar was to brief the clients of the bank on the changes of the clearing process after the implementation of the Bangladesh Automated Clearing House (BACH) and to demonstrate Citi's capabilities to facilitate client transactions post implementation of BACH.
Dr Salehuddin Ahmed, former governor of Bangladesh Bank, inaugurated the seminar as the chief guest.
Mamun Rashid, managing director and country officer of Citi Bank Bangladesh, along with other senior officials attended the seminar.
Citibank is the first bank in the country which has organised such a seminar for its clients.
Representatives from local corporate, multi-nationals and non-banking financial institutions attended the seminar, according to a press release.
