Citigroup Asia Pacific chief due in city tomorrow

President of Citigroup Asia Pacific Shengman Zhang will arrive in the city tomorrow (Monday) on a two-day official visit, said a press release.
During the visit, Shengman Zhang is scheduled to meet senior government officials, major clients of the banks in Bangladesh. He will be accompanied by Chief Administrative and Legal Officer of Citigroup Asia Pacific Martin J Wong.
Zhang is also Citi Country Officer for Hong Kong.
He joined Citi in February 2006 as vice-chairman of Global Banking and chairman of the Public Sector Group.
Prior to that, from 1997 to 2001, he oversaw the WB's Corporate and Support Functions and Sectors and Regions respectively.
From 1995 to 1997, Zhang was vice-president and corporate secretary of the WB and executive director for China between 1994 and 1995.
Earlier, he held a number of senior positions at the Ministry of Finance in China.
