Citigroup inks pact to buy Japan's Nikko

NEW YORK, Oct 31 (Reuters): Citigroup Inc said Wednesday it has signed an agreement to acquire all of Nikko Cordial Corporation, Japan's third-largest brokerage, paying about US$4.6 billion for the 32 per cent it does not already own.
