Citizens Bank holds training on Islamic banking operations
Citizens Bank arranged a training programme on Islamic banking operations at its Training Academy recently. Alamgir Hossain, Managing Director of the bank, inaugurated the event as the chief guest and delivered an insightful speech on various aspects, scope and operations of Islamic banking. He also emphasised the growing importance of Islamic banking from both business and personal life perspectives. Among others, Deputy Managing Directors Md. Mostafizur Rahman and Md. Abdul Latif, along with Mohammad Rafiqul Islam Shikder, Head of Islamic Banking Division, were present on the occasion. Officers from different branches and corporate office divisions of the bank participated in the programme.
