City Bank, Biman to launch co-branded credit card

City Bank and Biman Bangladesh Airlines have recently signed an agreement to launch a co-branded credit card.This is going to be the first ever co-branded credit card between a bank and the national carrier of the country titled 'The Biman Bangladesh American Express® Credit Card'.
The card is signed to cater to the frequent travelers of the country with attractive privileges and services from both Biman Bangladesh and City Bank, said a statement.
Air Marshal Muhammad Enamul Bari, BBP, ndu, psc (retd), Chairman of Biman Bangladesh Airlines and Aziz Al Kaiser, Chairman of City Bank exchanged the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations at the Balaka Bhaban, Biman Bangladesh Head Office.
Capt. Farhat Hassan Jamil, Managing Director & CEO of Biman Bangladesh Airlines; Mashrur Arefin, Managing Director & CEO of City Bank; Kurush P Dastoor, Director for Global Network Services, South Asia, American Express; Md. Mahbub Jahan Khan, BPP, psc (Retd), Director, Planning and Director, Marketing and Sales of Biman Bangladesh Airlines; Mohammad Salahuddin, GM, Marketing of Biman Bangladesh Airlines; and other senior officials from both organizations were present at the event.
Aziz Al Kaiser, Chairman of City Bank stated, "We are proud to be associated with Biman Bangladesh Airlines. City Bank customers can now avail special facilities while travelling with the national flag carrier by using this co-branded credit card. This indeed will add newer dimensions to their travels and hopefully will make their journeys memorable."
