City Bank launches ATM, debit card

The City Bank Limited (CBL) has launched its fleet of ATMs in the city through opening six ATM booths on a single day. The bank will launch 40 more ATM booths soon.
The bank started issuing VISA Electron Debit Card across 82 branches on the same day. There will be no fee for debit card until December 31, 2007.
CBL Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Kazi Mahmood Sattar inaugurated the products at a simple ceremony Wednesday.
Also present on the occasion were deputy managing directors Sohail Hussain, Raihan Ul Ameen and Head of Retail Banking Mashrur Arefin.
