City Bank opens CityBizness centre to help SMEs

City Bank has opened its first CityBizness centre at Motijheel in the city to support small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to grow and move to the next level.

President of the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) Hossain Khaled Saifullah inaugurated the centre recently, said a press release.

Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the bank K Mahmood Sattar was also spoke.

Shulov, Muldhan and Sheba, all loan products, have been designed and launched on the opening day of the centre.

The cluster products of Shulov are for SMEs from the manufacturing sub sector. A manufacturing small enterprise of SME sector will have the option to access to all the required funded and non-funded credits available in Shulov to avail either one or all products according to the need to run the underlying business.

Similarly small enterprises in service and trade sub sectors will have required credits for their respective business support under Sheba and Muldhan cluster loan products.

Among others, Deputy Managing Director (DMD) (Business) Sohail RK Hussain, DMD (Operation) Raihan Ul Ameen and Head of SME Banking B Choudhury were present at the opening ceremony.
