City Bank opens new branch

City Bank Limited has opened its 84th branch with modern and online banking facilities at Kachua in Chandpur.
Lawmaker Muhiuddin Khan Alamgir inaugurated the branch as the chief guest recently, said a press release.
Among others, Chairman of the bank Aziz Al Kaiser, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) K Mahmood Sattar, Deputy Managing Director (Business) Sohail Hussain and Head of Retail Banking Mashrur Arefin were present at the inaugural ceremony.
Addressing the function, Mr Alamgir urged the management of the bank to focus on industrial financing and also small and medium enterprise (SME) loans through the branch.
He appreciated the efforts of the bank around retail banking facilities.
The chairman of the bank reassured the audience that the branch would focus on the socio-economic development of the area.
Mr Sattar explained bank's products including foreign remittance facilities for people receiving money from abroad.
