City Bank to accept UnionPay cards in BD

City Bank, a private commercial bank of the country, and UnionPay International, one of the largest card payment companies in the world, signed an agreement at a ceremony in the capital recently, says a statement.
Under the deal, City Bank, possessor of country's largest Point-of-Sales (POS) network, will be able to accept more than seven billion UnionPay cards issued globally.
Apart from that, the UnionPay cardholders can make QR code and e-commerce payments through City Bank's vast network.
