City Bank wins \\\'Best Bank in Bangladesh\\\' Award

City Bank has been named the 'Best Bank in Bangladesh' at Euromoney's Awards for Excellence 2014, according to a statement.  
The award was announced at a ceremony in Hong Kong recently which was attended by 500 leading bankers from across the globe.
City Bank's MD & CEO Sohail R K Hussain received the award on behalf of the bank.
This is the first year of Euromoney's extending the award to Bangladesh and City Bank has become the winner of the inaugural award.
Euromoney said, "During a period of political and economic instability, City Bank of Bangladesh thrived. Across a range of businesses, City Bank embraced change in a way its rivals struggled to match."
Sohail R K Hussain said, "This will further reinforce our determination to continue to execute on our strategy in order to create value for our clients and shareholders."
