City bldg catches fire

A fire broke out in a commercial building in city’s Elephant Road area on Thursday. Sources at the Fire Brigade control room said the fire broke out on the fourth floor of five-storey BS Bhaban in the area at about 1:25 pm. Being informed, six fire fighting units rushed to the spot and they were trying to bring the fire under control till filing of this report around 2:30pm. The origin of the fire could not be known immediately, according to a news agency.
