City bomb explosion injures 4 women

A powerful bomb exploded with a big bang, injuring four women at Tilpara under Khilgaon Police Station in the city on Tuesday morning. Police identified the injured as Ambia Khatun, 33, Ratna Rani, 30, Hiron Bashi, 45, and Selina Begum, 50, all construction workers. They suffered splinter injuries. They were working at construction site when the buried bomb went off at Road No-17 at Tilpara. They are now undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital. All of them are out of danger, hospital sources said in the afternoon, according to BSS.
