Armed masked robbers tried but failed to rob a chain shop at the ‘Keari Family Plaza’ at Dhaka’s Adabor on Monday. “A gang of five to six robbers entered the shop in the evening,” said Adabor Police SI Mizanur Rahman Khan. “They opened fire but no staff or customer was hurt.” The shooting did not cause any damage to the shop either. They had struggled to carry away the cash box but fled without it since the “situation was turning against them,” said Mizanur. A staff of the shop said four miscreants came at the store demanding money. SI Mizanur believes the masked men robbers can be identified with the help of CCTV images. RAB officer Major Rakibul, in charge of the area, said they too were trying to track the criminals, according to bdnbews24.com.
