City road crash kills DCC cleaner

A cleaner of Dhaka City Corporation (DCC) died on the spot as a motorised vehicle knocked him down in Tejgaon area in the city on Saturday morning, police and hospital sources said. The deceased was identified as Khorshed Alam, 50, a cleaner of DCC, hospital sources said. Sub-Inspector of Tejgaon Police Station brought the body at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital around 9am. Details could not be known immediately, he said. The body was kept at DMCH morgue, according to BSS.
