City sewerage line explodes again

The gas, which accumulated in the sewerage line in front of the 12-storey Mizan Tower at Kalyanpur under Mirpur Police Station, went off again Thursday afternoon. Earlier on Wednesday evening, at least five people were injured when the accumulated gas of the same sewerage line exploded with a big bang. Contacted, officer-in-charge of Mirpur Police Station Md Salahuddin said the gas in the sewerage line exploded again around 5:15 pm Thursday afternoon.
