City witnesses rainfall

Dhaka city, as elsewhere in the country, witnessed light to moderate rainfall on Sunday, which helped keep the mercury at comparatively low level.
The Met Office recorded 15 millimetres (mm) of rainfall in Dhaka until 06:0pm on Sunday while the country's highest downpour was recorded at 76mm in Khepupara under Barishal division on the day.
However, maximum temperature in Dhaka was recorded at 31.5 degrees Celsius on Sunday.
The country's highest temperature was recorded at 33.2 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi on Sunday, according to the Met Office.
The sun sets in the city at 05:18pm today (Monday) and will rise tomorrow (Tuesday) at 06:05 am.
