Civil society given full freedom: President

President Abdul Hamid on Monday said that the country's civil society has been given full freedom to express their views. “The civil society of the country has been given full freedom to express their views,” the President was quoted by his Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim as saying. The Presidential remark came in response to a comment by the outgoing Ambassador of Belgium to Bangladesh Pierre Vaesen who made a farewell call on the President at Bangabhaban, according to a news agency.
