CJ apprises President of judicial backlog

Chief Justice (CJ) Surendra Kumar Sinha apprised the President of the overall activities of the judiciary at Bangabhaban on Wednesday, reports UNB.
SK Sinha said there are 15,383 cases pending at the Appellate Division while 369,813 at the High Court Division of the Supreme Court and 2,713,373 in lower courts across the country.
