CJ calls for unity to establish rule of law

Chief Justice M Muzammel Hossain on Wednesday urged all to work together to establish the rule of law and ensure justice in all spheres for making Bangladesh a welfare state. He made the remarks while addressing the website launching ceremony of Human Rights and Peace for Bangladesh (HRPB) at the Shafiur Rahman auditorium of Supreme Court Bar Association Bhaban. The Chief Justice also observed that the importance of public interest litigations is immense to uphold the rule of law and human rights. He lauded the HRPB for standing by the general people, hoping that the organisation will continue with its role in the future too.Later, he inaugurated the HRPB website, according to a news agency.
